Highlights

  • Native macOS look - Windows, sidebars, forms, Settings and the menu bar popup now use standard macOS controls and adopt Liquid Glass on macOS 26 and later.
  • New app icon - A layered icon that supports light, dark, clear and tinted appearances.
  • Check Access for AWS tunnels - Validate and Test Permissions now work with AWS SSO profiles, because they read credentials through the AWS CLI the same way a tunnel does. Expired sign-ins, MFA and a missing AWS CLI now show a message that tells you what to fix.
  • More reliable AWS Session Manager tunnels - Several tunnels on one SSO profile share a single browser sign-in. Reconnects are limited, local ports are released after a stop, and start errors name the cause, including port conflicts.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Export the selected tunnel or all tunnels. Encrypted exports are encrypted in memory and written with owner-only permissions.
  • You can cancel SSH key generation and exports.
  • StormTunnel detects passphrase-protected OpenSSH keys and lists imported keys right away.
  • Connection history keeps every connect and disconnect event.
  • Fixed a crash when saving items to the Keychain.
  • Host key checks and host validation are stricter for SSH tunnels.
  • The Settings window is smaller and resizable, and the About window shows all of its content.
